Toxins Stored In Your Fat Cells Are Making You Fat And Swollen. Here’s How To Cleanse Them.


The body is specifically designed to naturally remove toxins from it. However, the toxic environment today does not allow the toxicity to be cleaned so some of our organs become overburdened easily. Toxins can be divided in two groups: water-soluble and fat-soluble. The water-soluble type of toxins are removed through the blood and kidneys, but fat-soluble toxins represent a real challenge.

The fat-soluble toxins include heavy metals, pesticides, preservatives, food additives, pollutants, plastics and many other environmental chemicals. To be flushed out, they need to be transformed to water-soluble toxins. The liver has this responsibility, but if its function is impaired, the toxins escape the liver and spread to the blood, fat cells and the brain, where they can live for years. This will inevitably lead to various diseases.

How it works

When a meal is being digested, the nutritional and toxic fat are passed to the small intestine where bile secreted from the liver emulsifies them. There, millions of mucus membranes called villi and lacteals sweep the gut, absorb the nutritional fats and send the toxic ones to the liver for processing and elimination. If this pathway is impaired, the body will store the toxic fats instead of eliminating them.

The most important half inch of the body

The lymphatic system’s beginning is called the Gut Associated Lymphatic Tissue (GALT). It surrounds the intestinal tract and is called the most important half inch of the body. Here, the villi (lacteals) absorb and process both types of fats from the food, the nutritional and toxic ones. The ¼ inch of the inside of the intestinal wall must have the mucus membranes performing normally, and the ¼ inch of the outside of the gut should not be blocked.

The lymphatic system around the gut will lead the absorbed fats to the liver where they will be separated. The good fats will start making cholesterol, cell membranes, hormones, brain cells, skin, etc. The toxic fats will be processed and marked for elimination. However, if the lymphatic system is blocked, this process is compromised.

The usual symptoms of a congested GALT affecting the lymphatic system include elimination problems, excess belly fat, bloating, skin irritation, itching, swollen limbs, swollen breasts, tenderness (especially during the menstrual cycle), hypersensitivity, headaches and joint stiffness.

It’s all about elimination

Unhealthy diet or stress can affect the intestinal mucus membranes (villi) and compromise the bowels’ function. Higher and continuous stress levels can dry out the villi and cause constipation, and cause them to produce reactive mucus. When there’s too much of it, your stool will be normal, but you will be unhealthy and bloated. If the mucus is even more excessive, loose stool could occur. Check your stool: if you have mucus in it, you should immediately act on this problem. If left untreated, the villi will become congested and stuck in the excess mucus.

This means that normal immune response and the health of the intestinal wall breaks down, and the toxins will be back in the liver. To overcome this problem, the villi must not be too dry or too wet. The delicate balance must be achieved.  There are more causes that can compromise the intestinal villi beside stress including worry, food additives, processed food, coffee, soft drinks or hyperacidity.

Where do the toxic fats go?

To keep our bodies healthy, optimal bile flow is needed. Bile is the Pac-Man of the liver and intestines; it eats the fats and acts as an immune system responder in the digestive tract. The bile collects all the chemicals that can endanger our organism. If your diet contains plenty of fiber, the bile will be taken to the toilet. If the diet lacks in fiber, 94% of the bile will be reabsorbed and taken to the liver to be recycled. At that point, the liver gets overwhelmed, as it is not fit to process the toxic fat cells.

With time, the liver becomes congested and the bile turns sludgy, so it gets difficult to process that tasty hamburger or fatty foods you have eaten. The bile will eventually become too thick and it cannot buffer the stomach acids that start entering the small intestine. They irritate the villi and more mucus is produced. Over time, the bile becomes more viscous, blocking the entrance of the pancreatic enzymes into the small intestine. The pancreas and gallbladder share the same bile duct, so when it becomes congested, the digestive process experiences problems.

What happens when the liver is overwhelmed?

When the liver is overloaded with bile and toxins, the liver releases the fat-soluble toxins in the blood flow. Then, they find their way to fat cells and they are stored within for years, causing oxidation and degeneration. The toxins reach fatty tissues all over the body, including the brain, where they transform into neurotoxins and cause cognitive issues and health imbalances.

When excessive mucus is present in the gut, and the gluten is not broken down, it can irritate the intestinal walls and cause increased mucus production. This impairs the ability of the intestinal wall to act as a health barrier of the body. There are periods in which we can successfully eliminate dairy and wheat products from a diet, but we cannot keep them out for a longer time.
